I don't understand. Is New Orleans not a predominately black, lower to middle class state? In times of desperation ALL is irrational. If we would have had food and supplies in the state to begin with, it would be a different story.

For all those dissing on these "irrational" actions, who are you to say what you would do when life as you know it is hanging by a thread? It's one city. It's one state. The entire country was NOT affected. This isn't some post-apocalyptic survival story. This is shitty people doing shitty things and they have no excuse.
