my question is...
...what is the producers plan to keep this show going?
what will our characters do after the 3 week deadline to get out?
what happens once they are out?
The wife and I were talking about this the other day. I figure the show has a maximum life span of three seasons..... one season getting out, one season on the run and tracking down the culprets that framed Linc and one season for the trial. After that I can't see the show having any compelling reason to watch, however, they could use the same concept applied to another cast of characters.

I think two seasons is the max here. I don't think you can have a season for the trial. If the show is as successful as it seems to be they can try to do a second show with the same concept but I don't think you would get the viewership. Once the concept is done once you end up jumping the shark when you do it again....kinda like the Blair Witch Project.
Season two will be like the Fugitive Movie. It will be interesting....they have opened a lot of story lines with the different characters involved in the break out.

Just finished watching last nights episode. Pretty good, though not as crazy as I thought.
Killing the guard was stupid... would have been more interesting to keep him alive.

Hey, that brings up a good point. They could do a season following each of the characters after their escape.

i think this whole season will be about their escape...but considering how fast the story seems to be going and that there are 23-24 episodes in all, there will be some filler episodes like maybe how T-bag and the mafia guy got there in the first place...a bit on their lives etc etc...also remember Fish promised the mafia guy to give him the location on the informant responsible for his imprisonment...so that could be another lead...not to mention Lincolns life and family etc etc.
just too many avenues really
its too early to tell for season two, but the besides the most obvious route, maybe Fish gets employed by some govt agency to make reforms on prisons or even to infltrate some prison circles and get some info for law inforcement, unsolved cases, sensitive info etc etc.

We could always put in a spoiler blocking tag live I've seen with other forums.
Basically so you have to mouse-over to be able to read the spoiler text. But I doubt it would be put into place on this board as few around here seem to have any care for rules or common courtesy as it is.
