One of the weirdest games i've seen in my life:
- unbelievable lack of communication between Paulo Ferreira and Ricardo leading to Liechenstein getting their goal
- Pauleta missing an wide open goal
- one of the most blatant penalties ever not being given by the ref, after a superb save from.. a Liechenstein's centre-back. And there was another penalty not given in the second half. We got robbed at home against one of the least powerful countries in Europe
- a Liechenstein striker gently not letting the ball go in for what would have been their second goal, clearing it off the line. He was even offside.
A final result of 1-1 would have been funnier.. too bad we scored the 2-1. I mean.. qualifying for the World Cup without managing to beat Liechenstein
Hopefully this will cool* down the wave of euphoria and make our guys respect the opponents and concentrate the maximum.. but I don't believe it, by June everyone will be again in a retarded super-nationalistic mood.

I was watching the game between Portugal and Liechtenstein earlier this morning. I've got to say that the lack of communication between the goalkeeper and I think it was Ferreira was unbelievable. I can't believe that the defender was not talking to the goalkeeper. That goal was probably the easiest one for the Liechtenstein-player - And it came against Portugal in Portugal.
I can't believe that the referee could've missed that obvious penalty. He was pretty good placed too see that the Liechtenstein defender took the ball with his hand, Unbelieveable.
But Portugal did get a penalty that should not have been a penalty, I guess that was compensation for the bad decision by the referee earlier in the match. I thought that Figo would've score on it, But he did'nt, A very hard penalty from Figo's foot placed the ball on over the stadium
But Portugal was way better and they did get a goal, as always the goal was scored by Pauleta. A really nice header there and the goalkeeper did not have a chance.
Liechtenstein had a stunning chance to take the lead later on in the game, But luckily for Portugal the shot from little less than 20m came on a Liecthenstein-player and he actually saved the ball on it's way to goal, Don't think that the goalkeeper would've saved it if it was not for the Liechtenstein-player there..
But at least Portugal won after a goal by Nuño Gomes. I don't think that no one expected that Liechtenstein would've made such a great match in Portugal as in Vaduz (2-2).
