Luckily, it's a Heaven event so that means Clovis won't be there. And there's nothing cheesier than non-teenagers who still dress like candy ravers w/ home made tshirts stating their affection for a dj.

--- well, last time i checked when a dj is known for a certain style, a promoter doesnt hire them to "experiment", they are hired to deliver what the crowd knows from them. and from f&p, we know only trance, so why they would be booked under that impression and then bring something completely opposite, is not my idea of fun. if i had known they were gonna play disco techy housey shit then i wouldnt have gone. why? because im not into that shit and i have that right. no offense to anyone that does like that stuff, but im sorry, tranceclub heaven and no trance... im still confudsed

Filo and Peri do not spin only trance?! They sometimes produce it, but I can tell you right now their live sets are usually in the nature of (less)prog trance and (more)funky house. I guess, checkout the artist's charts or recent tracklist before you buy the ticket next time so you know what to expect, at least if it bothers you. Always good to open up to a new genre

Liquidawn, i feel your pain. When I hit a club, I fully hope that it's packed too (esp. hot chicks). And yeah, i'd rather not see the f'd up old asian chicks doing whatever it is they do. And I'll even go further and hope that I do see any candy-ravers, no matter how old they might be.
But I'm wondering if you went to see Filo & Peri or all the people (or in the case, lack thereof)?

hmm an objectified question but part of the whole clubbing experience is the crowd... because as a consumer that is your medium. what bigger DJ's do is make that medium larger and more tangible to each other.
i think his points are valid throughout this thread and his criticism is constructive.
