Miss Mixalicious, I promise you, I will never run for any sort of office, and yes, my right hand is on a copy of Lights Out 3
Recap of those 93 hours:
I woke up that Wednesday morning (31Dec03) at 6am and went to work, sick as hell. I willed my sickness out of me, and drove up to my boy's place in Maple (from just outside of Buffalo) and got there at about 11:15pm. We all had dinner and got to the Zone for 3am, and stayed till 7pm. I'm SO not proud of that, and there exists this treacherous girl that STILL MSNs me as some sort of cursed reminder of that debachle.
After leaving the Zone, we went to Bobby's house, cleaned up a bit, ate some chili and made it to Film by midnight. Everyone there kind of had this wtf-are-you-doing-alive look on their face towards each other. Extremely surreal, it was.
I went to an afterparty at around 5 with a couple girls, hung out till 10am, got back to Bobby's, and made Jennypie get her shit together so we could get my buddy Steve and have breakfast. BTW, the Bad Boy Bill DVD at thsi point is STILL playing over and over and over, as it did all fucking weekend. Dancin in the Dark (4Ttune 500) and Spread Love (Fight Club feat. Laurent Konrad), and Da Hype (Junior Jack) were the weekend's theme songs.
Sunset Grill, the classic breakfast joint, was the setting of our idiotic laughter session, wondering just how long this could continue, though everyone else had deided sleep was in order at some point in time. As for me? Noooo sirreeeee...I cherish my moments in Toronto, and it's New Years, my class starts on Monday, and I'm going to rock it the fuck out!
We went back to Bobby's and chilled for a bit, ate something for dinner, and had a few drinks before I went upstairs to try and get some rest. To no avail though, because Jennypie and Jackie thought it would be cool to draw pictures on me. I have no good reason why that prevented me from sleeping at this juncture, but it was all of a sudden time to get in the shower and make it back up to Film.
Since I seem to take my sweet old time getting ready, I cabbed it to Dundas and joined the crew. After a long night, I watched a movie with a friend at Bobby's, and made a run for the border in the early afternoon. I came home and hung out with my buddy Gio, and we chilled in the hot tub with some Red Bulls, recanting the recents days' events.
I have no idea what took me until 3am to get to sleep, but maybe I was overoveroverovertired. Yeah, that's it.
After remembering that holiday's theme songs, I queued up a playlist of rememberance for the wonderful, wonderful period of house music that I'm rockin out to now. Enjoy:
