^^ What Shafer8 just said is the right attitude for conflict resolution

Takes reasonable mature people on both sides to make it work though...

That what I said, lets all get together and have dinner at a Vietnamese restaurent and eat good food while we listen to Sasha blaring in the back round and all come to a conclusion that none of us are perfect and we all have faults, each has their own tastes but we all belive in the same thing, Electronic Dance Music!

Fuck that was funny, stil laughing while eating a bagel and cream cheese and Motza Ball soup!

I really think you and Leon should sit down (not at a club) and work things through as I am sure you could help Heaven as much as Heaven coul d help you AND at the same time for you both to help all of us EDM lovers out there do good things and keep our vibe alive.

Clovis I have made many many mistakes in my past and all I can do is learn from them and move on.

Like I said you may be right and you may be wrong on somethings but for the sake of the music lets try and help each other.

Fuck Ill buy you and Leon dinner on ME just to work this out, are you in?

I think I prefer being banned from heaven...I do not want to go to Heaven again, I in no fucking way want to help them...and guess what...if I feel like calling them on something...its gonna happen. This is a forum where I have just as much right to tell a different side of the story than they do to lie in everyone's face...

But I think you are a genuine guy Sol and I appreciate your concern. My hope is that the Heaven run by these bozos dies, and that some fresh people can fill in the niche, people who actually think things through and know how to throw a great party. I will be happy to support someone like them.

I actually love Vietnamese...and I appreciate the offer, but I dont think it would solve anything. And we dont have to play Sasha...Tiesto will work

If you want the bad reputation to change, then you actually have to DO something about it. You know, like CHANGE things.. listen to your customers feedback, and yes that includes listening to the feedback from those aside from the same 50 comped guests each event, like the actual paying customers and the non industry related clubber.

I actually really like this quote just because it's absolutely the proper direction to look at events from.

Not just with clubbing but even at work, I never focus on what I personally think would be great. I try to say to myself, "If I was a the average joe who comes here and not a die hard, what would I want..."

With that, I am amazed how few promoters will ask me, "so what are people saying about our latest event?" ... it's usually just to see if I liked it. I typically only have crowd issues. But I can have major crowd issues and then look around at the various communities on the net (not TA), a lot of the times people will simply say how they had an amazing time and there will be very few complaints about the crowd. And you know what? That feedback is more important than my feedback in most cases because it's those casual clubbers promoters need to survive. If they go around saying they had a good experience, chances are they will come back.

Anyhow I do belive one day you all will be friends and get along. the offer still stands for dinner if you want as I am sure we can all work things out, this I know it just takes communication as every relationship does.

The problem is that there are some ppl on TA (every regional section has a few) that require an event to go off flawlessly - otherwise - their review will mainly be a bitch session about something trivial. Reading it makes you think the party was utter shit - meanwhile - otherwise is the case.

I've been to parties where the DJ played an average set and trainwrecked a handful of times...but while the music wasn't the best the party itself was great and ppl had a good time. Along the same lines it's also possible to have a shit crowd/party with amazing music..there are just too many factors.

As for this thread..it's a little ugly. (understatement) I think most of the sides have stated their case and if you want to follow up there is always PM.

ho hum. Closed.
