ok guys so this is my pvd, experience, night review. first you guys are awesome for the feedback. ok so here i go.
friends were late and i ended up talking into the place close to 1am. got on line at 1215am. 1230 i popped my first pill. got in at 1am. immediately found my friends at the first speaker to the right of the bar opposite tiesto. had my faintly tinted sunglasses on, nice comfy sneakers, jeans and a tshirt. music was just so nice. coming around 130-145am it started to kick in. 2am-230 i REALLY started to feel it. what did i feel. i felt great. the music i felt like was tapping into my very soul. i got so into it mentally. closed my eyes and just bopped and raised my hands in the air. in my mind it was nothing else but 3 things. myself, the music and paul van dyk. the roll started t really come on around 3am. i popped my 2nd one crushing it my mouth and drinking water. 4am-6am it was a complete ride. the music at some points esp with some of the vocal tracks like marco V false light and some tracks at the end just completely absorbed me. i felt it in my guts, in my soul. dont know how else to describe it. it was like the music was enveloping me and totally consumed me. at one point i couldnt feel anything. i felt like i had no body. just my mind was existent in the club. like i was there physically. just my ears, music and the lights. i looked up and my eyes were kinda closed but open. itsl ike i was trying to see double vision. yo know how you look at somehing and kinda cross your eyes so it looks like two. my vision was like that. i felt free. happy. intense. absorbed into the music. i mean even without the drugs i am a HUGE lover of this music.
but i dont know how to describe it. i saw pvd at central park and that was off the hook. saw armin at crobar, awesome. tiesto at crobar was ok. ferry was whatever. pvd and armin are the best. ive seen armin at spirt with perry and that was phat. but roxy sound system just killed it! and with pvd spinning he killed it with his set too!!! i feel emotional, like i miss it. i want it to go forever. the music, the vibe just sets me free.
so some mood killers. those smelly vietnamese people. im korean and my friends are all mixed. we drink, party hard but we dont act all retarded. i dont walk without my shirt on, i dont shake my friends like they are rag dolls and i dont stare at people. i smile. when i bump into someone i apologize. thats the other thing. some big white dudes are really rude. like theyt wanna fight cuz i bumped into you. its crowded. what you want me to do. im not a small guy either and i know how to fight but that aint me nor is it my personality. the fobs make me feel mad uncomfy there.
can anyone tell me about my experiences? care to elaborate? i m not the full out dancing type but i like to listen and chill and just get in my own world. i dont like to dance period but i enjoy the music at 150 percent. its all about the vibe to me.
can someone tell me if this set is available online>?
and also what were those tracks he played at the end!! OFF THE HOOK!!!!!
i hope to meet you guys at the next gig. how do you guys even know each other or recognize each other. |
AAAAAAAAAaaaawwwwwww, sheeeeeeeeeeeeet!!! Thaaaaaaaaaaas' my niigga!
Yea, boyeeeeee! hehe. welcome to the wonderful world of edm/mdma. tho, don't abuse it and keep in mind that first flight is the best, the rest won't be as good, but close.
Your topic actually got me thinking and I decided to roll again, after a 2 year break - and it was awesome!!!! I actually felt like it was one of the top 5 (and I did quite a few "jumps" in my lifetime)
The only thing I didn't like about the experience - it condenses time. So, it's like you got these spots in your memory that don't contain anything but some pieces of visuals, remote memories of sounds, some speech. It's like your night is a playback on DVD and you hit fast forward x20.
I recall walking around, scaring people (I'm pretty big, so ppl think I'm a cop or security and no matter how I dress or style my hair - it's always the same). This girl came up to me and asked me if I was a NARC. I just pulled my shades down and she just hi-fived me, gave me a hug and laughed. She was cute too! but I was too messed up to even do much more than grin and say something like "cool, I need some water".
funny, how you can tell ppl who are rolling and you're like on the same wavelenghth. I had a really great time and the best time was just comming down - chillin at my friend's crib, listening to vocal trance and just chillin. it's the best feeling in the world.
damn, I missed the vibe and feeling over these 2 years and this was definitely great moment to take a stroll down the memory lane.
btw, it's monday afternoon and my jaws are still spasming. I also feel like I'm still on a come-down. this was definitely one of the longest runs I had. I'm glad I only rolled on 1.5 tabs - would have sucked if I actually stuck to 3 doses I thought I was going to need. this was some strong shit!
anywho stay safe and be smart.

And that is as it should be, because Death is very likely the single best invention of Life. It is Life’s change agent. It clears out the old to make way for the new. Right now the new is you, but someday not too long from now, you will gradually become the old and be cleared away. Sorry to be so dramatic, but it is quite true. |
