Dont worry. He's half/half. Although his father wanted him too play for Bosnia. The Bosnian national team didn't want him so he had no choice but to choose the Swedish national team.

Arctic: He has been in Bosnia.

funny thing about Swedes are that if you are a foreigner and you become famous or accomplish something then the media and people in general are very keen to call you "Swedish" but if you don't then you are and will be seen and called as a foreigner.

a good example of this is Ludmila Enquist, the former gold medalist.
she was from Russia but moved to Sweden and became very successful athlet. She didnt even have swedish citizenship but people in the immigration office seem to have been in a rush to grant her citizenship after her success. She was called "Swedens new hero" everywhere.
But then it was revealed that she had been taking illegal drugs during the championships. suddenly noone called her "Swede" any longer.

This is totally gay and i think it happens in other countries too.

not the same. as i wrote in my post even normal foreigners are seen as foreigners and not swedes until they become famous. a non swede have to work 10 times as much as a swede to be recogniced as something.

I get it, but it's almost the same as complaining about people that have to work 10 times as much as others to earn a living, when others are just born into wealth etc. It's like just another injustice of life. Not that it should keep people from complaining about it.

I dont think it's unique for Sweden though, if that was your point

this is soo true, and when zlatan missed that penalty against netherlands back in euro 2004 everyone hated him. now, 1,5 years later he's becoming a legend in swedish football.
