i think all boards grow and then become elitist making it very difficult for new members to "join in". Slinky forum is going down that route at the moment.
But their are plenty of other very active trance related forums. Godskitchen, DSI, Harderfaster, Peachey Ravers etc etc......
Most of us who have been going out for a while have lost the enthusiasm slightly, c'est le vie.

im sure TA isn't dead, its just not as good it was in good ol' days, nights at The Republic and Pause in shef and will always be the best nights ever! I don't post on here cuz im in a totally differnet scene now! very very happy here in chester, working as one of the organists at the cathedral. certainatly wasn't complaining when they handed the keys over to my rent-free apartment in the cathedral grounds!
miss all the old timers, and i reckon u know who u are
I have to say my first trip to gatecrasher with toby, tyrell and adam was one hell of an experience, and meeting a load of people i had only spoken to on the internet was not scary at all. I already felt like i knew these people, and i already did. I had been speaking to them every day for 6 months.
And i will always remember the first trip to the NEC with about 13 of us meeting up. My last meet up was the gkgg i think back in 03. That was a huge meet up, and i still have the pics to this day.
They were some of the best times of my life, and everyone i met was an amazing person, and we all shared the same love of trance
