I would say that Canadian values and American values have never clashed as much as they do now in years! With the exception of the gun crime. Yes, we are still too Americanized in my opinion.
I do tip my hat to Paul Martin for taking a very good stand against Bush about the soft-wood lumber thing.
Remember municipal politicains, in Canada, really don't have the powers to make many changes like other mayors around the world do

This liquor license removal, from The Docks is no suprise to me.
Maybe it's time to restart I-Dance for those who remember.
Just read any of Earnest Hemmingways writings on Toronto. Alot of what he said still remains true today.
