Seattle is starting to look more like a Puritan town *spelling. We have so many new laws that are going against the liberties of the people. Rules against smoking, what alcohol can be sold in stores, and laws that prevent strippers from being within 4 feet of the patrons, which means no more lap dances. No whether or not you agree with these laws, this is a direct contradiction against the idea of liberty. Nickels and all of his minions who are now the nannies of Seattle and who claim to be liberal democrats, deciding what is best for the people, are no better then oppressive politicians who are using political and social coercion to make us do what they want to do. For being such a liberal city, we are starting to look like Salt Lake City. If there's one thing I hate more than conservatives, it's politicians who claim the name liberal or democrat but practice politics that go against everything of what liberty and democracy stands for.
