Yep. Even for me, I kept thinking about what made him really stand out and the not so stand out things that are still good I don't think about.
My English also sucks, eh

On that note, most DJs are doing work now that is outside the normal realm of DJing and producing music for clubs. I was surprised to learn Misstress Barbara has produced music for video games and she did a track that is being used at the Cannes Film Festival, I believe. Lots of artists collaborate on non-dancefloor oriented projects, we just don't hear about them.

Esp last 5 yrs or so, EDM has been a big influence in a lot of video games. For example, Sasha doing Wipeout 3 soundtrack. (Which IMO is best EDM videogame soundtrack collection ever) EA's FIFA series from 98 till today. SSX series until the last one where they went all rock which IMO is a shame. Grand Turismo also has decent EDM tracks.

I think it all began with Moby being so popular and a lot of people realize that electronic sound doesn't suck... esp in small doses.

Surprised they didn't pick Mauro Picotto, since his hometown IS Turin, Italy. Then again, he's really sucked lately.

Nat, dear - you are not the only one. I am a super gigantic detroit techno fan, and I totally get bored by Hawtin. Except I do like his Minus Orange (video version) track.
