You're right. This thread was definitely inspired by yesterday's events. But I'm not crying about it. What people choose to do and say on the internet doesn't affect me personally, because I know better.
I am however, genuinely concerned for the people that pull this crap. I know that if I were doing the same thing, I'd feel like a loser at the end of the day. And I just can't imagine what it's like to go to bed at night with a clear conscience, knowing all the embarassing or deceitful things I did throughout the day, including what I did on the internet.
But excuse me for being concerned and wanting people have better character and higher moral fibre. If they're happy not contemplating such things, then fine. No one asked for my advice, so I'm gonna stop giving it. |
Are you fuckin' kidding me. You're this bent out of shape because a few people managed to pull off a practical joke. That's pretty sad Jenn.
There is no need to be concerned for me. I felt fine by the end of the day because I know that those members who have a sense of humour had a real good laugh when they found out they had been fooled. Seriously, learn to laugh at yourself. If anything you should probably examine what character flaw it is you possess that prevents you from seeing the humour in this whole thing. Maybe you're just a little to vested in your own image as presented here.
Sorry if I come of harsh here because I really do like you but you're just being idiotic. You really think that pulling off an eloborate joke calls our morality and character into question? Yes, of course I'm horrible person because I made people laugh. WHAT? You make no sense at all.
BTW, your decision to stop giving unsolicited advice is probably a good one as I think no one was taking it to begin with.
