I'm not a female but I know a fair number of trance loving women. They are out there, just not as online as much it seems! It can just be hard for some people to find proper music when so much top 40 is force fed over the air waves.

I'm quite pleased to say that I've helped many people over come the barrier of crappy mass music, I guess it helps to be an obnoxious twit who forces electronic music down people's throats at every chance possible! LOL

I was even able to convert my sister a few years ago. After hearing years of me constantly playing my old techno and jungle mix tapes she finally heard something that caught her ear and got her curious enough to ask about it. She liked my old Sasha and other X-Static tapes from the Better Days parties (God I miss them ) and liked the progressive and trance sound but never truly got into it until I was able to toss stuff at her around the peak of trance in '98/'99 (don't get upset, you know that was the peak and its not like trance has gone away) that she loved. She became hooked and has had a love of trance music since then. She is always trying to get her high school friends interested in electronic music, and is even slowly converting her boyfriend right now! LOL *wipes tear of proudness from eye*

And if you even want to get down to the nitty gritty of it regarding women and electronic music... LOL I can even get my Mom dancing sometimes when I'm spinning. I know thats not the type of trance female your thinking of but it counts, and besides its cute! (and if that IS the type of trance female some of you are thinking of then you get a big punch to the neck and you better stop thinking that )

So they are out there, and there are decent numbers of them you just have to go out and look a little harder.

Ummm, did I stutter when I mentioned liquidchick and tatgirl? Do you actually want to know how many trance babes (...ummm...girls)there are, or just the ones that notice and post in this thread?

BTW Kalemic, good job with your sister. I took my recently turned 19 sister to Smirnoff and that was her first event. She was actually quite hesitant to go and her friends fed her all the usual stereotypes about "raves". Anyway, she loved it and has started getting into the music (of course my feeding her CDs for the past few months also had something to do with it )and can't wait till she can get back from Montreal and go with me to the next one. Oh, and she's pretty hot for you little boys out there.

Yeah, I'm in Poland pretty much every summer, and I rarely see a girl that has her hair dyed...they usually stick to their natural colour there...which is brunette. I see blondes too, but natural ones, not dyed. Then I come back here, go to school, and every Polish chick in school that was brunette before summer is blonde after summer...I don't get it. Dyed blonde hair on a girl looks like shit, unless its just highlights/streaks.

I will speak from a US point of veiw, I go to the club every weekend and I try to go to a party every weekend too. I personaly cant stand house but it is most popular here in the states because well, lets look at the scene it started here in the states and its easier to get house music in the states. Many of my friends listen to house because it has words to it and they can sing along because they cant dance. And I will say that alot of the girls who I have seen at the club and some parties that like house is becuase they cant dance to anything with 120+ beats a minute, I remember when a DJ at a local club here threw down a 30 minute set of some HARD HOUSE, we're talk'n Bam-Bam and Venom quality 144+ Beats a minute, the dance floor cleared of all the grinders, ho's and wanna bees (these goes for men and women alike) there were about 7 of us dancing our butts off to it and there was 2 women both I know are trance heads dancing to it. I think the reason Y U see more women who "like" house is because it is more comon and they dance to the words...... which means to me they cant dance, they must be from a cant dance family with some cant dance kids and they go to work in a cant dance car, and get drunk in a cant dance bar. I do see quite a few women in the trance, Hard house, jungle and DaB scene, but they R porpotional to the number of club regulars out there, we trance addicts R about 10% or less of the american population (american being canada and mexico and US) there R more Rock fans in the town I am stationed at then anything else and it is sad to see a bunch of hicks with mulets thinking they R cool in their rusted out blazer or beat down 96 mustang ST, argh I wont even go on that subject I hate the people around here. FYI I am in Watertown NY or City of Watertown as they like to call themselves and City of Watertown in short is COW like the women here. Sorry to rant but I had a bad weekend alot of people here p'ed me off, and Ive been here to long (3 years). Oh and Sothis marry me I am looking for a woman who understands my obsecion with computers and the online RPG world.
