(brain still at the club...must use fragmented sentences)
I love this club.
Was my first time there and it definitely exceeded my expectations. Real classy joint. Reminded me of like a classic ski lodge - chandelleir (sp?), big throne chairs, old wall paper, wood interior - very posh. Drinks were pretty expensive, but the bartenders were cute. As for the wait, I waited about 20 minutes but I think that's a decent time to wait. It's no fun if you can just walk in, you've got to wait in the cold for deep dish and appreciate it when you get inside.
Now for Deep Dish...
Unbelievable!
THey layed down some sick tracks - my fav was the Adam Freeland remix of that doors track... Not sure if it's released yet, but it was a great track to end the night with. Their set was pretty mixed up - which was nice. THey could hold a nice trance melody, dirty techno bassline and finish it off with some familior breaks.
I went to the comfort zone afterwards - not quitesure what to think of that... definitely sucked some class out of my club selection, but nevertheless it had some pumpin choons.
alright im off,
jess

first time there, crazy lines, normal line moved the fastest..got there at 1030 and was in by 11. All the other lines seemed to be at a stand still.
-coatcheck needs work
-club was way way too packed, hard to walk anywhere downstairs, so i was upstairs most of the night.
- sound system in there is incredible, who ever designed the layout and position of the speakers actually has a brain, it was really well done.. espically with that array of tweeters on the roof in the center, makes a huge diff.. really clear sound.. upstairs is good too, not too loud so u can talk...can see how it was too lound on the dance floor though, but at least its good quality loud, not like koolhaus for example.
- copelands opening set was very very good
- love how deepdish cranks the volume just as they go on lol
- their set was great from 1220 when they got on, till around 330..then they went into some rock crap like madonna, can u feel it, I'm sure some people love those songs but DD totally lost the crowds attention, was funny watchin from above. That rock stint caused a lot of people to leave i think, didn't really have any flow, was more like individual songs just being mixed together at the end. Didn't start getting good again till around when i left at 430, but i figured I'd have to stay till the end cause they had just started building up again.
I thought their set at guv was better...when they peaked that set at like 7 it was just fucking insane, but then the venue is totally diff. They didn't come close to the energy level they had going at guv.
Was definately worth going to, but if you didn't go.. u didn't really miss anything.
EDIT - suprised no one mentioned
david guetta - the world is mine
police - S.O.S.
armin - who is watching
