believe me i wouldnt

anyway, theres nothing wrong with cheese

i love true death metal (ie, morbid angel, vader, dying fetus), not the so-called 'death metal' such as in flames or slipknot (especially the latter), however i still like some of the cheese such as linkin park, limp bizkit, slipknot etc (because some of their tunes are actually pretty good).. and ill admit that on death metal forums.

i think people have some kind of blockages though.. seriously.. i have friends who are die-hard death metal fans who wouldnt admit to liking the cheese i was referring to even on their death beds, just like the trance community (if these forums are a representation of it)

i dont know whats with people.. :/

music is music, and a good song is a good song (not matter what the genre) right?

Mate, I freely admit to listening to cheese. However, there is a difference between good cheese and bad cheese, and you should really recognise this. I'm not denying that cheesy music can be great stuff, but you seem to take all cheese as one. What's more, you parade your tastes, without ever seeming to give time to any type of dance music beyond the most accessible and commercial music. When you start being arrogant about your supposedly eclectic tastes nobody buys it, because you're demonstrating a big lack of quality control with what you listen to.

Listening to good artists is one thing, but when those artists are buried among shit people wonder about how well you actually know why the good is good.

In fact, I think that XenatR loves the "kick" in a track, and it's even better when the bpm is high.

I detect a significant psychological conflict and an unsatiated desire of violence. As you seem to like death metal, I advise you to go to brawl you with lorry drivers, or bikers.

Only thing I dont get is, most people do listen to cheese, Xenatr isnt the only one....but thing is, to most its a guilty pleasure which they dont really take pride in, well because,....there isnt anything to be proud of hah, its cheese afterall, a rather craptastic genre...but Xenatr you're actually proud of it, I mean alot of those artists in ur sig are god awful, I don't understand why you would even take time to write them out if you weren't serious about that style of music. We all listen to cheese, its ok if you do, but to bring it up in a serious manner and actually think that the music is of any quality worth sitting and downloading is kinda sad. Why waste your time downloading(legally) bad music, when you could be putting that time into getting nice stuff.

and what i about the fact that i love classical music and opera too.. should i go brawl with high society people?

system-j, im not closing myself off to the artists you like.. i love for example foreplay by probspot.. i dont listen to it as much as cheese, because it doesnt give me energy or a happy feeling like they do.. i sometimes might listen to songs like foreplay or flaming june when im trying to get to sleep or chilling, as it relaxes me

im not closing myself off to these genres.. just i find the cheese (cheddar, or just mouldy) more appealing, more of the time!

edit: and yes i agree, there is a whole load of aweful cheese out there, as i have experienced 1/10 are from downloading.. or even lower. but still, there is some amazing stuff too, and this is the stuff i listen to

edit2: there is a whole load of cheese FAR worse (going by cheese = bad) than the stuff in my sig

Shit music or not, you are a bigger loser for caring so much. So kindly go jerk of in the corner to whatever music you like and is better than anyone else's and stop posting for your own sanity.

And surely you're the biggest loser here for caring so much about what a loser like me thinks to comment on me commenting on something else? Or you could just stop bollocks like "LOL I'm superior to people here, who are obviously taking stuff seriously because everything we talk about online is deathly serious, and not just random chatter to people we'll never meet."

Idiot.
