It is still your responsibility. You knew or ought to have known that one of the potential consequence of sex is pregancy. You had sex regardless of that risk.... you made a conscious choice. Unless she raped you it is your responsibility. Even if you could prove that she intentionally sabotaged the birth control you would still be deemed to have an obligation to that child (by any court in the western world).

No, it does not. It may be morally reprehensable behaviour on her part but it does not justify physical violence.
| quote: | | I'm not selfish (oh sure) but I sure as hell wouldn't accept getting my life ruined by someone. |
Yes you are selfish. You are trying to alieve yourself of responsibility so that you don't have to own up to your duty. Your claims that she sabotoaged the condom are likely false or at best unprovable and the motivation behind your claims is nothing more then self interest without regard for anyone else involved. You are a child thinking only of himself, what this will do to your life, how this will change things, what this will cost you..... grow up.
| quote: | | And don't talk about "it was your choice, blah blah"... sure, if the child was an ACCIDENT I might "take my responsibility" (oh sure) but if she actively deceived me to get the money... no way. |
It was your choice, just because you made a bad choice or things didn't work out the way you planned doesn't mean you can just shrug off the consequences. You made your bed, lie in it.
You really are the worst type of asshole.
