It is not "americans" per say that I don't like. It is Mr George W(anker) Bush that I dislike. The people keep electing him..so maybe it is the people that I dislike after all
When the US starts showing tolerance for other cultures and religions and deals with the issues in their own country (ie. 34 million Americans living on or below the poverty line) then I will respect them. Oh and when they get off their high horse and stop assuming American life is THE WAY and the be all and end all, more respect will follow.

we really dont need respect. and its true, economically, we r the shit. what bothers us is why people we could care less about talk so much about us when we have say nothing about them? dont like us? ok let us be and mind ur own instead of just constantly riding our ass. thats the american gov't mindset but actually worse

I love how alot of Canadians here pride themselves on being less ignorant....yet when I say I grew up in the US the first thing I hear is "Are the high schools really like in the movies?!?".

I've gotten quite a few negative comments here when I've told people I'm American. Same thing goes for Taiwan....I would tell people I was American and get a colder response than if I told them I was Canadian. Interesting how it all works.

That is one thing I have to agree on. For some wacked reason a lot of the people in the healthcare industry in Ontario, specially receptionist, and nurses (not all of them ofcourse, just the majority I've personally been in contact with) treat non-Canadian residents pretty freaking rudely. Sorry to be blunt but.. fuck off and do your job! not everyone is out there to scam the system.
