It is always the first question you get from an outsider when they find out where you were last weekend, "are you an e-head?". It does get annoying.

But it is grounded in truth, I would say more than half the faces I see and most of these parties have dialated pupils, the sober kids are the exceptions, the drug users are the rule. Everyone seems to condone it. Just try to observe the proportions while you are out one night, obviosly you wont be able to judge every single person but you should get some idea for the ratio of sober to not sober. With so many people using stuff, is it any wonder that everyone assumes the whole crowd is doing it?
