oh and i will!

it was sketch town meets imitation prada there tonight
6.5/10 music wise, mostly because of the good ol pvd tunes that made him who he is today (i.e., for an angel and nothing but you)
the show was NOT sold out. you could get a ticket at the door for $65

thats all i have to say about the show. other TAs will fill in the gaps

it was a good show.. yea... for an angel, nothing but u ... time of our lives ... if he made a show with only that kinda stuff... it would've been awsome

i got an autograph on my time of our lives single.. thanks for the tall TA that helped me get it...

it was kewl to see some ppl there even if i went alone... shouts to elena, montana, krys, jen, angelo....

8/10... didn't look packed.. elena is prolly rite when she said they werent sold out (good thing i didnt buy an extra one and scalp it )

that's about it.. oh.. i have 2 new best friends.. they are called EAR PLUGS my ears are perfect... and they don't ruin the experience at all for me (they just take out the very high treble).. that's about it.. next up max graham....(it's on my bday!! .) and then whoever is at cyber june 3rd... then ferry... then scott bond... my poor money

Hopefully, you will be able to purchase the other shoe when you scalp your Ferry ticket.

Woah!

What a sicko that guy is. I'm afraid that I have a new number one now!

I think that he exclusively used Ableton.

He played some sick tunes like The Drill, Karen Overton - Your Loving Arms (something that Tiesto failed to play on Sunday; bastard), most of his recent vocal tracks, the Second Sun's one, and of course... FOR AN ANGEL.

They started to turn up the lights in the club around the 12:00 point and Paul was like "eh, I'm not done yet!" and went on for another 30 minutes. Yeah, really, who the hell are they to tell Paul van Dyk when to stop?!

Some footage...

PS: The-guy-with-a-bottle-on-the-head was at it again. Paul noticed him a couple of times and at the end tried to mimic him but couldn't balance the thing for more than 2 seconds. Oh, well, give him some time!

He also played some mix of New Order - Blue Monday briefly, John Dalhback - Nothing Is For Real (Mark Knight mix), The Egg - Walking Away (tocadisco mix) and Doom's Night.

Overall the set was definitely more enjoyable with a retro feel to it. He played lots of driving acid-tinged tracks along with bits of electro thrown in. Maybe the reason I had fun was that it was less trancey?

And who kidnapped PVD and made him animated? That was weird!

Also, his female assistant: was it his wife, Natascha van Dyk? I just can't seem to find any photos of her.

HEY! Don't be talking about electro or less trancey things on this board!

That was excellent, but I found it to be a bit more cramped than AvB in April. I agree that the electro tracks made his set quite a bit better, and overall it was harder than I expected. So happy that he played Enmass- CQ and Dogzilla -Without You. Without You was such an awesome choice for an encore song!

Officially, what makes a good DJ is one who enjoys themselves, works the crowd, and plays with the music alot. I've noticed that with all of the headliners that I've been to. (3! lol)

Too many people on E last night, I think. Especially the crazy guy who was right in the crowd... kept on bumping into me and took up a mass amount of space.

Good to finally see a couple TA's there!
