there was a thing on the news about how the US Government is going to distribute a 'code of behaviour' with all new passports because their citizens are so disliked by the rest of the world.

And it's definitely needed

i don't know how this debate came about?

i've generally found that Americans and Israelis who travel abroad in groups are the most obnoxious and annoying of all nationalaties, but the ones that travel solo are completely different (i met one american travelling solo who would avoid americans like the plague )

groups of Pommie Hooligans and Australian Yobbos can nearly be as bad

groups of americans/Canadians need to turn the volume knob down a tad, they need to realise that us australians" dont really care"

The poms are a real hit and miss bunch. I've met some absolutely awesome poms, but then have also met some absolute gits. Both singularly and in groups.

I spose that goes for most, but some (Americans especially) do seem to be louder and more obnoxius than the rest.

wow, a bit uptight aren't we? its not an ego trip thing, its a fun promotional/joke thing. Look at the cafepress website, when I first opened that account I just threw a logo on everything they offered. Its not that uncommon with people who use that site.
