records will change in pitch slightly as the needle moves closer to the center

quote:

When I mix with my 1200's you have to be ready to ride the pitch at all times. There are many other factors which can affect your beatmatching on TT's then with CDJ's. Wind, vibration, skips, crappy tables, worn out pitch sliders, acts of god...

that's why i'm making the switch to cd as well

take the variables out of your mixing and you'll become that much better

i do recommend learning on TTs first though

Me to i dont know what to do. Between DN-S3500 and CDJ-800 MK2. I could have brand new CDJ 800 MK2 foe 1350$ USD shipped to my house, or brand new DN-S3500 for 1215$ USD shipped to my house! What do you think guys is better! I begin to mix. I want to mix Trance but also try to mix some rnb and hip hop stuff! I think that the extra features are cool on the Denon. But the guy at MoogAudio here at Montreal, tell me that they don't want to sell denon anymore because they had many return?! Is it true...they are less resistant than cdj 800 mk2?!

Thx for your help guys!
alex

Take the cdjs with a decent mixer and you won't regret it. Something like a DJM-400 is a little more pricey, but it gives you many of the extras the 3500s give you effects-wise

I already read the post but need maybe more opinions. I had already a DJm-300 mixer...

So my choice was about the price!

Dns3500 : 1350$
CDJ 800: 1500$

What do you suggest! Does it worth the extra 150$ for the CDJ or not?!
Cause i dont have any effects on my DJM-300...so i'dont know if i'll be more happy with the Denons....

from a professional point of view..

Save it Morello... you dont make sound yourself sound important by saying you are a 'proffesional'
You are the one who suggested a vip split of the forums for the proffesionals and now here we go.. round 2... stupidity strikes again!

Put your money where your mouth is and post your 'proffesional'
live mix. And make sure it's 'proffesional'...
Or shut it... For good!
Enough said!

i was wrong, this dj booth is more than enough at the moment
