Whenever we visit the native americans, always eat buffulo and elk, and corn stuff. My grandmother, being that she is cherokee, loves the stuff. I don't really mind it, I just find it bland. The cornbread isn't that bad.

yeah i agree

i am half sindhi and half gujrati , most of the stuff mentioned is all north indian food.

Since someone mentioned thai food, here are some food pics i dug up from my trip to thailand photo albums.


A thai noodle dish. cant remember the name. Not too spicy, salty and tangy. Contained fermented beans.


Your regular mixed vegetables in oyster sauce. Added starch so the gravy isnt as watery as normal. Used more spices than normal too.


Thai style black pepper beef fried with basil and garlic. + rice of course.


Phad phet neau (sp?) and rice. Best i've tasted in a long long time.


A roadside bbq/shish kebab stand. Theres a similiar stall down the road from my apartment but the one here had waay more variety and way better sauces. I spent a good 1/2 an hour standing here eating.


that's all i can find for now. i'll continue digging. Bear in mind that some of these dishes arent authenthic thai but are found all over the place in thailand anyway.
