oh believe me, I'm one of the biggest advocates for trance from that period, as a rule it was very well done, and even if now it can sound cheesy or poorly mastered, I found more invention melody wise, and more creativity (aka not as many tracks being rehashed as we get now)

As a general rule, I find that most of the Gouryella tracks begin to get lacklustre around three minutes in.

whiteroom

i could have listed shitloads of asot-favoured tracks over the past few years but that one stands out the most as being 'overrated'. i don't think it's actually a BAD track, just terribly average... yet everyone blew up over it. i can't see the appeal to this day

just cause the track is 3 yrs old and everyone has played it to death doesnt mean its overrated.

IMO thats one of the best songs ever created.

You really have to take this thread with a grin assault, Its pretty much peoples own tastes. I happen to like many tracks on this list who others say are overrated. So to each your own

I'd hardly call it debateable whether its overrated, and it definitely is not one of the best songs ever created. If it were, I'd be very worried about the state of music.
