Cool, glad to find someone who shares some the same sentiments about this music. There is definitely something about this music that appeals to your sensory abilities. The stuff I love the most is the dream-like, emotional and melodic, stuff that just takes you away from reality for a while. Like a moment of zen if you will. It's also mostly instrumental so that just makes it even more universal, so people can get different things from the music. They can experience it. There's nothing dogmatic about it, it just gives you this release, that I feel is theraputic and could be used in a spiritual or transpersonal setting. Transpersonal psychology is an area i'm getting into, which explores the relationship between psychology and spirituality and transcendent or mystical experience. Your from Detroit eh? I am too, well Farmington, like 30 or 40 minutes or so away.

lol i work on 8 mile in novi every day. and farmington is only 12 min from my place. (-:

Cool, I work in Novi as well, in Novi Town Center. I work at Pier 1 (haha no i'm not gay)...but only like 3 times a week. I have the most boring job in the world and I get paid piddley. I used to love it because I did nothing, now I hate it because I do nothing lol. I'de get another job but i've been at my job for two years and a lot of the ladies love me where I work (i'm the only guy) and i'de hate to leave. Just like here on TA. I've been here a year, I could leave and start posting a lot where people don't give me crap about what I like or don't like or feel about this music or whatever, but i've met a few nice people and established myself on here, that I don't care anymore (or try not to..).
