Italian Politicians Urge Amnesty Over Scandal

Members of Forza Italia, the political party of former Italian prime minister Silvio Berlusconi, are calling for a fooball amnesty as the trial into alleged match-fixing continues.
The initiative for the amnesty has come from Mauricio Paniz, an MP of Forza Italia and a Juventus supporter. Another of the clubs threatened with relegation for their alleged part in the scandal are AC Milan, run by Berlusconi, who recently lost a bitter re-election battle against Romano Prodi.

The fact that the Italian national team, the Azzurri, have reached Sunday's World Cup final, may have softened attitudes and increased the pressure for a reprieve from supporters of the clubs involved.

Thirteen of the 23-man Azzurri squad are attached to the four clubs concerned - Juventus (five players), AC Milan (five), Lazio (two) and Fiorentina (one).

The special prosecutor, Stefano Palazzi, has recommended that Juventus be relegated to the third tier of the Italian League, and that Milan, Fiorentina, and Lazio be demoted to the second division.

However, this has enraged Berlusconi, who is trying to portray this as a Juventus scandal.

The Milan boss is demanding that the Italian Football Federation (FIGC) strip Juventus of the two Scudetti they won in the last two seasons. and hand them to Milan.

However, Sports Minister Giovanna Melendri has ruled out any amnesty for the clubs implicated in the scandal.

"It is stupid to talk of an amnesty. Football needs major reform, " said Melandri.

"The national team's matches are one thing, the sporting trials are another. Let's keep them separate."

Meanwhile, Internazionale's chairman, Massimo Moratti, who is a friend of prime minister Romano Prodi, is unimpressed by his two big rivals' alleged behaviour and unsympathetic towards their current predicament.

He believes that the Scudetto should be given to Inter as the third-placed team in Serie A.

Moratti is widely respected within Italian football as a man of integrity.

Asked the question, "What do you think of a Serie A without Milan and Juventus? Would you be nostalgic?"

He replied: "No, I certainly wouldn't feel nostalgic."

I fucking hate Berlusconi and Forza Italia bunch of crooks and Bush lovers

This is pathetic too. Im sorry I know I am an Inter fan but first I am a Italy fan a fan of the Serie A in general. If they get amenisty or anything but relegation I will probably refuse to watch the Serie A as it is a crime that that even could happen!

Amnesty should be applied for Milan only

During the last CHAMPIONS LEAGUE games, here some telephone interceptions between Luciano Moggi (ex general manager of Juventus) and Pierluigi Pairetto (ex referee designator in UEFA)...

(ripped from Corriere Della Sera, 05/04/2005)

***Chapter ONE - THE WRONG REFEREE

Moggi: "Hello?"
Morena: "Mr. Moggi goodmorning. I wanted to communicate the referee and the assistant referees for the Champions League match of tomorrow evening"
Moggi: "Who is the referee, Cardoso? "
Morena: "No, I see the referee Poll Graham"
Moggi: "Uhm"
Moggi: "Where is he from...?"
Morena: "Is british" (...)

after a while...

Pairetto: "Hello"
Moggi: "Goodmorning"
Pairetto: "Ohila goodmorning"
Moggi: "Oh, and that saint of Cardoso, eh?..."
Pairetto: "Eh"
Moggi: "Paul Green (Moggi's english, he doesn't remember the name Graham Poll, ndr)"
Pairetto: "What?"
Moggi: "Paul Green"
Pairetto: "Then it must have been happened something at the last moment maybe, I have Cardoso on my papers, surely happened something... maybe he had health problems or something like that"
Moggi: "Get informed, get informed quickly"
Pairetto: "Yes yes, I'll verify it soon"

(the match Juventus - Djugarden finished 4-1, and Juve qualified)

*** Chapter TWO - I REMEMBER YOU

(Sept.1)
Moggi: "Hello"
Pairetto: "Ehila, I know you forget me but I still remember you"
Moggi: "Oh come on"
Pairetto: "Eh, I putted a big referee for the Amsterdam match".
Moggi: "Who is?"
Pairetto: "Meier"
Moggi: "Excellent"
Pairetto: "See? I still remember you, even you lately..."
Moggi: "Oh come on, from now you'll see, wait until my return back, then I will tell you if I forget you or not"

*** Chapter THREE - I NEED A CAR

Man: "Agnelli house, goodmorning"
Moggi: "I am Moggi goodmorning. I would like to talk with Nalla"
Nalla: "Ciao Luciano"
Moggi: "I need in a brief time because you know we must do..."
Nalla: "Yes"
Moggi: "For an important friend of mine, I need a Maserati"
Nalla: "Yes"
Moggi: "Fourdoors"
Nalla: "Fourdoors?"
Moggi: "Yes. I give you time like a week or ten days, va bene?"
Nalla: "Va bene"

*** Chapter FOUR - THE CAR IS ON DISPOSAL

Enzo: "Hello?"
Pairetto: "Enzo?"
Enzo: "Ciao Gigi"
Pairetto: "Listen I wanted to tell that practically I have the car already"
Enzo: "What?"
Pairetto: "So tell me when we can go and pick it is on your disposal a Maserati"
Enzo: "Oh come on"
Pairetto: "Yes so"
Enzo: "Holy Saint"
Pairetto: "Now when I return back tomorrow I'll call directly the Royal House (he means Agnelli house, the FIAT owners".

You can not ruin any happiness. The two are not linked togehter. The people who even brought up amnesty are those from Milan and the Forza Italia party stupid radical politicians. It has already been thrown out while laughing about it in court.

I can not believe you would stoop this low fast dont even get me started on this lets say that the Moroccan league was corrupt see what you would say now when the entire world is laughing at your league. Your a fucking n00b in this case and you better just be posting stupid shit like this to be funny because really its just stupid
