They played absolute shit in those two games, but they even played worse today. That gives you an idea of how shitty they played today.

I do find it funny how everyone is complaining about how shitty Brazil is playing, yet they're tied with Germany and Argentina for the most goals through 4 games (10 each), and they've only given up 1, as opposed to the other two countries that have given up 2. Spain could catch up with a few later today, though.
I think Brazil's one of those teams that doesn't play hard until they have to, and so far, they haven't had to. |
We don't care how many goals they score, or how many they let in, or what their record at the half is when they lead, and all the other superficial statistics that one can dig up and that don't reflect how shittily they played. I'm not worried about them winning. They always find ways to win. It's HOW they win. We want to see the beautiful display of football from '70 or '82. They have the players. They have the talent. They have the skills. They're simply not gelling as the beautiful team everyone wants and expects to see. We saw many glimpses of that in the game against Japan, but otherwise, we've seen shit. Anything less is unacceptable, considering the enormous potential they have with this team.
