Kate, everytime I've heard of a techno headliner there it has been in the evening.

what's the crowd like later on in the day at the zone?
the 2 times I've been there, it seems like it's "busiest" between 9-11 or so, then the crowd thins out by noon...does it get busier later on in the day?

It gets busier again later in the day with a new crowd coming out. I believe it's the most sketchiest Sunday mornings though with people who have been up for 3 days.

Danilo Vigorito, Marco Bailey, Cari, Green Velvet, Stacey Pullen..they were all booked and I can't remember a timeslot that wasn't in the evening (whether it happened or not for each I can't recall - these bookings are sketchy at best)
but I would be really surprised to see Carola booked for primetime (9-12am). The techno DJs don't usually get booked until mid-afternoon or later (Greg, Lee, etc)

I'm going to play it by ear.. maybe try to find out closer to the date. I just figured he'd play the same general slot Scumfrog or Desyn would be booked for... the bpm for Carola's set will likely be in their range too!
He is playing in the US on Saturday night though so it might depend on that as well.

I LOVE COZO!!!!!!!!
First time there and it was long LONG overdue!! Mother of God Dekozee was just was I expected there...I can honestly die a happy woman now. Scum Frog was up and down for me...but overall good set from the time i was listening.
The horror stories about this place....wow what a fucking joke. I had no problems at all...and the sketch rate was unbelievably normal and tolerable...like holy fuck GUV is a million times worse!!!!
Let's just say before COZO i went to gallery....and thank god I had max, Dan, and Brant there to fucking keep the fucking sketchtards off my ass....it was UNREAL in my 7 yrs of partying I never felt like I was more at a pick up top 40 bar like I felt at gallery on this night....thanks guys!
nevertheless wickked tunes as always!!!
What an amazing wknd...and a amazing sketch after gathering at my place...oh the jokes and laughs!!! Cheers!!

well, i wouldn't cement your opinion on the place until you've gone more than once...everyone who's a cozo vet has said it was one of it's better, less sketchy crowds...it's like going to the guv on a quiet night and wondering why people keep saying the place is a sardin can...hard to judge a club on one visit...start hitting the zone on a regular basis and i'm sure you leave more mornings than not feeling rather dirrrty

Obviously there are better days at clubs than others, but I think it would be rare to find a person who had a great first experience at a club then had nothing but bad ones afterwards.
First impressions are important, and while its possible to have bad days afterwards its more than likely that more good ones will follow.

This past sunday was definatly not that sketchy. In fact I was surprised at how few people were there.
Try going on a holiday weekend!! Yowza! If you can deal with the sketch though, it's definatly worth it! I love that place!
