You’re so adorable it hurts. Often when a person mentions proper trance they are immediately reminded of music from the early to mid 90’s. Proper trance is a very hypnotic, entrancing, highly repetitive form of music that arouse out of the fusion between the ambient house scene and techno. A lot of that music featured the signature acid bassline which is how you could tell that music apart. During those days trance was still growing and it wasn’t until ‘95/’96 where we started to see some changes in the trance scene that would subsequently blow up in ’97-00’. Some may argue the validity of those years, but you know as well as I do that trance peaked during those years, but I digress. Proper trance isn’t made that much anymore, but there are still remnants of it being produced today so when I said I was making a proper trance mix I didn’t want to mislead Vero into thinking it was going to be music from the early to mid 90’s era, but from today’s era. Also a lot has changed since those early periods so don’t expect a lot of acid in my mix. You’re more of a tech-trance type of girl, but I hope with your permission you allow me to entertain you with something different for once.
