My mother never complains about my music being too loud. Sometimes i can hear it LOUD in the kitchen downstairs but she never says anything. She says she loves some of it, but hates it when i put on some Drums N Bass or Breaks.

My mum's ok when it comes to electronic music, especially trance - she even listens to it in her car. She favourite tunes are Barbers Adagio For Strings (FC Mix), DJ Energy + Tatana - End Of Time, Airscape - L'Esperansa and VDM - Fly Away...

Haha! She calls 'Joyenergizer' "That one that sounds like a helicopter" and 'Winx - Don't Laugh' is "That annoying laughing song"...

My dad can't stand it. He always says "Why do listen to such repetative music". I remember one day we agreed to listen to one song of each others choice. I turned up the speakers and made him listen to 'Mauro Picotto - Baguette' for a while. That'll teach him!

I guess its all those roadtrips.. but my grandmother loves Ferry Corsten I've burned a lot of CDs for my mom.. she likes uplifting stuff

my parents dont mind the music but dont support the scene....they dont like me going to raves and parties but what can they do

my dad just takes the piss out of people dancing to the music. last week he started going on about tribes in some mountains (or forest/jungle) making up a mixture and then shaking themselves into a trance like state. while he was saying that i was thinking that some people pay for that and they are getting it for free - lucky sods.

my mum always warns me to look out for my drinks and shit like that. started telling me this the night i was going to kellys (lush) for my birthday.

My mom doesn't mind it at all, unless she just came home from work, then any music will irritate the HELL out of her. Otherwise on the weekends, she likes my music (not the HARD stuff unfortunatly), but its better than nothing . Very often she even asks me to put some music on .
