That's obvious off course.
I don't mind people express their negative feelings about tracks either, it's a free world and everybody should!
No need to be positive all the time.
But I feel a lot of tracks are judged by different criteria than it was made for. You can't expect hardstyle to be subtle, or expect chill out to sound massive or pounding.
It's like blaming a race car not to operate well on an off road track
Secondly, the way one puts it makes a great difference.
I have seen lot's of things said about us that go beyond the opinion of music. I wonder if such guys would say those same things to me in a face to face conversation as well.
If they would, they are ignorant or frustrated obviously.
Of course I know I should not take it by heart, but to be honest if I read such things I really don't feel like making music that day, or even days after.
I really hope that more people try to think what their posts can do to other people. |
I think basically that you guys shouldn't care much about the people who comments like that. The people who usually comments like that is probably used to hear those old Rank-1 productions. You're trying something new now, and it isn't always easy to satisfy them.
Also, People who comments like that is basically stupid and doesn't really have much respect for producers. It's so much easier both for you guys, and for everyone else if they comment properly on your productions, so perhaps you can improve yourselves.
You guys shouldn't stop producing because it's quite obvious that you've still got fans (Even though I don't like your latest productions at all). But still, there are people who respects your work.
It's cool to critize someone's stuff, but post something plain and shit like "You guys suck, go retire!", Isn't really helping anyone out ..
Keep on producing!
