Native Instruments Traktor |
Serato is not the killerapp anymore?
Will I still need the Pioneer and Numark setup? With my laptop and Traktor?

Traktor Pro is in my opinion much better than serato. If I were you I'd buy an A&H Xone:1D and traktor and a basic mixer = killer setup. |
Numark DXM06
A&H Xone 1D
Traktor Pro
Looks like this is going to be my setup.

Before you decide on what to buy, I recommend you decide whether you want to mix on a laptop or CDJs. | I think I would rather mix on a laptop since it's less expensive than a cdj setup. What would be easier for a beginner?

that Numark is a POS. You will upgrade. You are throwing away 200$ US.
Try going used or saving your cash if you are actually looking into a mixer.
Or some sort of 2/4 chan external sound card? Traktor def needs that btw. The 1D by the specs is just a midi controller. The 2D on the other hand is both (internal soundcard and midi controller). Still leaves you needing a mixer. Denon X100?

So, I'm better getting a 2d since it's a 2in 1 and it will be a less expensive setup. I like that mixer. Looks like I'm going to need a mixer recommadition.

All i'll say is take your time. You seem to jumping from one idea to the next.
Also the 2D costs a hell of a lot more than the 1D and any other mixer that has been suggested (EG DXM 06) | I tend to get excited about things a little too quickly.
