thank you for some honest feedback. the djm1000 is pending right now. i decided on getting the djm800 and i am holding off on boosting my car. I'll still be keeping the efx1000 because i love it way too much. its soo much damn fun to play with and it can do a lot more than the onboard effects of the djm800. will post pics in the post your gear thread once i get it in. |
Alright no prob, that's cool. You'll be happier with the DJM 800 in the long run. And keep the effector, but from all indications, the effects on the DJM 800 are pretty good for basic effects, but if you think your going to use lots of effects, then yeah the effector is a keeper. And yeah...boosting your car is pretty pointless, esp like I said..with a Honda Civic. Your best bet IMO is to just save some money for a new car if you want something a little faster or better..perhaps once you done with school and have a good job. That's what I'm doing....esp because my car is payed off as well and it's not either of our cars are hot rods. I think what is really important with a car is effeciency, not speed. You want something that is reliable. Unless your one of these guys really into cars...like modifying them..a hobbyist essentially, or a rich dude who can afford a sports car.
