This is my first post on TA even though ive been reading threads voraciously for the past year. Why did I suddenly decide to post?
1)Ive been in Waterloo for just over a year and in all this time i have not found a single person that listens to/gets EDM. I desperately need to find like-minded people. Been to PR many times (last time was to check out Jelo two weeks ago), but i never thought there was a solid crew of people that turned up regularly. Seems like the only reason people hang out there is cuz they tried to go to the washroom and wanted to take a break or to get to a bar faster. Unfortunate though, wish people were exposed more, but awesome to know that you are all privy to this wonderful culture.
2)I'm from Montreal and a frequent patron of Aria. Nick is my favourite resident there and I am blown away that he will be here tomorrow night. I hope everyone realises how lucky we are...he's the real deal! The first time i saw him was the night Tiesto came to MTL in Nov 2005 (circus). It was a huge fiaso and they kicked a good portion of people out cuz it was overcrowded. We were so pissed, but then we jsut looked at each other and simulaneously exclaimed...ARIA! Headed over to our haven and Nick dropped sick beats endlessly and we could't even remember who Tijs was anyway.
Anyway, can't wait for tomm night, it's gonna be the perfect start to Guv10 Anniversary Weekend. Anybody else going? Sander Van Doorn...cannot wait!
