i didn't mean it like that, whatever I'll erase it. Anyways, there's no doubt that no other turntable will able to beat technics in terms of reliability, unless they make an unreliable TT, which they probably won't. It's not that they will die. It's just that they will decay as standards in the club scene. If other tables have good credits to their own reliability, then techs will just be a second fiddle because the other tables have more features and are better stats wise.
It's just that usually tech owners will have the most biased remarks about other turntables because they own them. It's just natural as one would not want to think of their tables not being the best now or in the future, as they did after all, spend enough money on them. I wouldn't worry anyway, regardless of the other tables, techs can still do an awesome job. I wouldn't count on seeing to many changes in clubland until next year to the year afterwards. Compettition has just now begun to really get intense with the new stanton tables.

I was gonna buy the STR8-100's but when I asked in forums about it... everyone said to buy Tech's; therefore, I bought them, they are great, but now Im wondering how the Stantons are now... especially since MoS updated all their tt's to them, mistake? Not likely.. but the if's, and's, and but's are still there

They'll always be there, it wouldn't matter either way, if you'd have bought the 100s then you'd be second guessing yourself again anyway. Just stick with it, it's by no means a bad purchase.

I while back when i was buying my TT's someone told me Stanton decks dont have enough torque. The stanton's are also lighter in weight as compared to the technics, which are 30 pounds each, so the Techs are fairly solid.
