Paul van Dyk split up from MFS (manager - Mark Reeder). The label believed his album, "Avenue Of Stars" was a collection of out takes and Paul had signed some contract that prevented from it being released leading to a course case in which the album was bounded with red tape.
He got his stuff back eventually, but he felt the productions were too old to release. After feeling really down about the situation and threating himself to pack music in once and for all, he still had a glimmer of hope to start afresh with his own label, Vandit. He found 'another way' of starting again, hence the title.

I don't collect vinyl and I'm not a DJ (although I did play a 2 hour set in some crappy youth club when I was 15 using Pioneer CD decks)
I do have an import CD of "Boys of Summer". That is all.
