I can say that it's not "massive publicity stunt" or "special kill of Leon's rating". Life is very interesting thing, isn't it? And sometimes it makes very dirty jokes. This night my friend sent me a letter with a 2 min rip from last ASOT and it was impossibly similar to my "Irony". Not only a sound is the same as some people said but first part of harmony also.
Let imagine yourself as begginer producer heard a melody too similar to yours, sounded similar. And imagine yourself writing a letter to person who you think got your melody. Just imagine that: "Hello big guy. You've stolen my track, isn't it?". Independently from he've stolen or not you would receive "No". And say that I'm wrong in this reasoning. I produced track using the same things long before this guys. I have all the proffs of it, including the CD sent to myself. And unfortunately I was not proffesional enough in 2005 to release it. And concretely the month I reworked the track and decided to sign it this situation occurs. I can't finally believe in so crazy coincidence...

There your wrong Maor

Mike sued Scooter and they did and still have to pay a share ;-) just to let you know that things like this DO work!

Ok first now I got the chance to listen to the melodies.

Hahaha, first of all --> This is an incredible simple melody to produce so why on hell use a preset-arpeggio?!?!?! That just pisses me off. I've cooporated with many artists who uses presets and once I realise it, I stop the cooporation immediately. It's just too ejay-ish!!! Make your own melodies god dammit Second of all --> These melodies aren't similar. The first one (the original) has more chord-changes and different ones as well. And imo is far much better. I wouldn't mind remixing it actually, cuz the chord-changes are beautiful! Leon's melody isn't quite as complex. And the melody-pattern is similar, but not exact the same.

Yes, they sound similar. Mainly because they both has the same synth-sound.

Grow up people

It's sad tha these threads attract most of the big producers. It would be great to see them posting and in other threads

Are you guys deaf? The two tunes are completely different. There's sweet nothing similar in the two patterns except what seems to be a similar plug-in.

And no, I'm not Leon's friend.

Some blame can directly go to peoples attitudes in here. If you make personal attacks, those artists surely will go away. Sometimes it even looks that people want them to go away. TA was really different when I joined, these days people seem to have no respect for the artists.

true mate. As for the music, i'd just let mulder & scully investigate, either way we'd get 45 minutes of compelling television
