I'm so sick and tired of people complaining how expensive SONIC is and how expensive these events are. You get what you pay for... PERIOD. It's like going to Holt Renfrew and expecting to buy a great suit for 200 bucks...it's not gona happen. If you want quality, you're gona be expected to pay the extra money. What I really like about SONIC is that when they do something, they do it right. It all boils down to how hungry a partier is to get quality sound, talent, venue, staff, and organization. Any true fan of these elements will pay a measly 100 bucks for 2 nights of greatness. Bring in the NewYear with some SONIC class, and without the riff raff that some un-mentioned venues will have. |
Oh, come off it buddy.
Regardless of anything you just said, we as potential customers have a right to complain about the price if we think it's too high. You make it sound like a crime that we're doing so. I've been to Sonic/Boa/270's NYE party, both nights for the past 2 years, and have attended the club many, many times. I would call myself a "true fan". That said, if I think it's pricey, I'm going to make it known.
