Best DJ of the night imo perfect and he was up against Nic Fanciulli, James Zabiela, John Digweed, Joris Voorn, Eric Prydz.

He had perfect amounts of groove and melody, had the place rocking, didn't play any cheese or big anthems, but didn't bore with the same loop for 8 hours like the rest did.

James Zabiela couldn't match him after, just fucked about with his iPad during a 7 minute long intro, then ended on some DrumnBass which I thought was a dick move to the poor fuck following.

Was it this one?

He's been closing on this a lot recently, did it when I saw him back in September and it blew the roof off.

Wow. Huge names. Surprised he held his own and even showed the others what's up.

If and when Eric makes it down to Toronto, I really really really hope he brings Olander with him. It will probably be the deciding factor in whether or not I buy a ticket. I remember hearing his earlier tracks and was like "wow who is this guy!". And then a few months later I learned that he was touring with Eric.

I think he has a promising career ahead of him.

Yeah could have been.

But how do you follow those speeds? Even with his sonic ******y that gets annoying it's tough to go back to 125-8 McHouse and it not sound crap.

Start again with a really long intro, reset the energy. I do think it works better when it's the last track of the night, but it's not impossible to follow.

Yes all well and good, but who was following? Axwell (or Prydz - I don't recall, I left for Joris Voorn and Digweed.), that's who.

Well I think Axwell is shit, so I'd have no qualms about shafting him as a DJ.

Haha, good point. It could have been deliberate.
