Yes, I was stating that if a track selection consists of not only great tracks, but ORIGINAL tracks then that DJ could be considered "amazing". All I'M saying is that it takes track selection AND mixing skills to be considered an "amazing" DJ. Track selection alone can make a "good" DJ, but if he can not mix, he will never be considered "amazing" in my book. How am I totally off with these statements?
I guess you don't understand.

Remember, I am quoting the word "amazing" that was used originally for the title of this thread. After stating Sasha's track selection, he also mentioned his mixing skills, which I agree would make a DJ "amazing".

All I did was agree with the others who said track selection > technical skills.

I don't know where you're getting all that extraneous shit from because I never said anything about amazing thats you. Also you're assuming I give a fuck about the original post. I don't.

Back to what I was saying. Any DJ worth his salt knows that track selection is so much more important than technical skills. That isn't to say DJs should not have technical skills because they most definitely should. Not everyone understand that though.

Anything before 2001 basically. I am particularly fond of the Gatecrasher NYE set, 31-12-99 - for sentimental reasons. Get that first, follwed by Zen After Party (Miami, United States) June 1996.

YES!

So THAT'S where we got off to the wrong start lol

You were talking about it being more important, and I was saying that it alone does not work.

And yes, I was being very sarcastic with plur.
