i agree
i was really upset when he got off the decks. i enjoyed it though, first time i've seen him. he really threw down. it pissed me off when he got off so early, i was expecting to be dancing my ass off 'till 4 atleast
but it was a good set i thought for how short it was.
was very pleasently surprised to hear pryda - aftermath and skylark - chiapet
and the last track with the samples from green velvet - la la land
la la lawler in la la land

Not bad but not great. Hugs n Kisses and Mouth to Mouth were highlights. Way too short and ended with the Green Velvet/Les Djinns mash again...

FAWK! 2.5 hours! What a lame "extended set"...
BUT...the 2.5 hours we did get were fantastic! So many tracks took me back to Ibiza memories I was almost in tears at times...while other times I was trying to pick up the pieces of my brain...I did not know Lawler would have the sledghammer in full swinging effect...
I could have went on for HOURS with Lawler on the decks...I thought he was just getting properly warmed up and settled in nicely and then bam...goodbye. Very upsetting...
Extended set my ass. I wasn't a big fan of his set last night. I should have stayed home so I could feel better for Giant today.

They haven't learned that extended set doesn't actually mean extended.

lol well we were sober so we left right after mouth to mouth, seems like we didn't miss much.
highlight of the evening for me was chiapet - westworld (skylark remix) i love this song and it came out of nowhere.
same with aftermath, i heard the hi hats and was like no fucking way.
he also played lil mo yang - reach
i'll post the vids when i get them up'd

What do you put into your live sets that has made you a dancefloor favorite for the past decade?
"I’m a dance floor favorite? Great! I would say the passion that I feel for the music I buy and the honesty with how I play it. I play the records I love not the ones that simply work. I’ve never taken the easy music option (which would make me a lot more money by the way) but chosen to push people a little. I try to draw people in a new direction slightly and expand their taste a little more than other DJ’s." - Lee Burridge
