Submerge.in January EDM top 10.... (not entirely a trance tracklist )
1. Soda Inc. - night fever
Sounds like a big chunk of this track is inspired by Discopolis, none the less a brilliant set of riffs, and superb vocals (sounds like “when doves cry”).Yet this is our tune of the month, though the album released in June last year, it just got a repress on a vinyl along with couple of other tunes.
2. Public domain ft. Lucia holm - I feel love (Whelan and Dj Scala remix)
Finally a mix doing justice to the superb classic, its pure magic! It’s released on a hard-house label, but Whelan and Scala are absolute geniuses when it comes to production and this is one of their finest works till date.
3. Common grounds - to be given (Max graham club mix)
A very very different sound from Max graham, driving and slightly edging towards electro, and superb energy, some wicked build ups and stabs, must have for Dj's.
4. Thee o and Steve edwards - girls like robots (Richard earnshaw instrumental mix)
This shows how much we love our guitars and funky basslines, Richard earnshaw is one of the best funky-house producers around, superb amalgamation of funky sounds and a super awesome bass line.
5. Psycosomatic ft. Silver pozzoli - psyco soul (Mattie le roy remix)
The tune released in Feb 06, but got a major re-release with some massive mixes, love the lead synth line.
6. Fine taste - superficial (original mix)
We just discovered this Dec release, its here for the bassline and the magical synths, pure driving bliss.
7. Thomas penton and Hserrao - jacks funk (original mix)
Peak hour mayhem, relentless energy, the fierce electro stabs are just insane.
8. Dave aude and Dj Dan - rock to the rhythm (Starkillers remix)
Thanks Scratch (submerge forum) for this tune, superb electro driven and bouncy, starkillers are everywhere this month, coming up with really powerful mixes.
9. Armin van buuren & Rank 1 - the world is watching me (original)
A superb follow up to who’s watchin, wicked bouncy bassline and the haunting vocals, makes this, another must have.
10. Jay lumen vs. Tobias hoppe - one moment (a dawn on the beach mix)
Something for the soul, deep-melodious-progressive = beautiful, we are in love with this.
