| True, but I think the line between the two were sort of skewed in the show. If it had to go to the most well rounded person, it was definently Sam. Cooked well and executed well. I don't know much about the cooking competitions that are behind the scenes, but I think they would judge more on the food than the kitchen dynamics. I think Top Chef needs to differenciate better between the two. At times they would focus too much on one aspect and at times they would focus on the other. But then again, I wouldn't use Top Chef as an example of a world class culinary competition. It's more made for TV dynamics.
