Hrm...
Well, my little spreadsheet here in my pocket tells me I'm 21.295, so it would be that long. (though its not quite as simple as that)
Hrm, its funny... as I read this, I find it saddening how many people have not found "success" yet, how "unfortunate" you people are. And still, seeing as many seem happy to wait until they find the right person, I should be glad for them... Something is wrong with this picture.
And seeing as I was brought up in a Christian household, and seeing as I still have remnants of marriage-before-sex in my head, I should be joyous that people still want to wait, and find someone special, not depressed, damnit.
Hrm...
/me needs to cold reboot his brain

there is nothing wrong with being a virgin, honest
its not even any different from not being one
i really dont get all the hype ppl put around having sx for the first time. so you do it, so you have fun, its not like you died or grew an extra arm or lost an eye.
sx is simply the same as shaking a hand with someone. you shake it, you dont die --- you have sx, you dont die
having sx for the first time is just like doing ANYTHING else for the first time (i.e., reading a new book, seeing a new person on a street, going to a country to which you've never gone before, taking a new course at school, trying some new food, reading an article in a paper, hearing a new song, ........... and i could go on forever) but you get the picture right?
i'm totally behind TiestoInTheMix, ITS NOT A BIG DEAL PPL
who cares if you're 22 and never done it, you will when the time comes

this is theoretically true.
However, both you and I know that society makes virginity a big deal.
For example, if you tell your friend in college that at 21 you're still a virgin, you will be perceived as a loser. You will be laughed at, ridiculed, and people will wonder if something's wrong with you.
And unfortunately, in many ways they're right.
If you are a virgin, then chances are that you're also shy around people, that you don't have friends, and that you're a loner. Most importantly, you're not as experienced...
