Doesnt bother me usually with two people going at it like dumb, slobbering animals, in fact it's quite amusing.

What is a worry is someone on a phone doing it... youre only getting one side of the whole perve and thats 'slightly unnerving' in public with the thought that maybe theyre just taking to themselves or something.
Unless theyre kind of gross looking, offensive, weird or nasty, then it kicks it up into the stratosphere of being 'distinctly uncomfortable'

It surprises me how people showing affection and love freaks people out so much that they would go to the extent of calling it disgusting, uncomfortable, stupid etc.

What is so wrong with people being loving toward each other? I mean, we as a society seem to have no qualms about people screaming and yelling and fighting, but when it comes to love and people genuinely caring about each other, it becomes "gross".

Are you that jaded that you cannot appreciate something so beautiful as love? The ONLY time I could think it would be disgusting is if they were groping each other etc. but just being cute and mushy is sweet and endearing.

I don't understand how something as wonderful as love could project such negative feelings in people. I would imagine it would instead spark a bit of happiness, or optimism in some.

AND this is coming from someone who has had their heart brutally broken. So, that is no excuse

It concerns me that socially, the western culture is more accepting to negative/agressive behaviour toward each other moreso than loving/caring interactions. It begs the question; what the fuck is wrong with us? LOL!

Everyone has a comfort zone, either with proximity, personal preferences and emotional state of mind at the time, its really not that hard to understand if you've got a decent enough experience with dealing with people to comprehend their view on the matter.
For me, couples cuddling and smooching is cute.
Random person at at cafe, public transport or in a movie hauling out their mobile and deciding to have some kind of deep and meaningful or slobbery crap with (maybe) someone on the other end is just kind of weird.

im one of those people. like a sick puppy. love is like most drugs, if the start of your relation ship is really good then the brake up it guna suck! but such is life. also you harden to the feelings ofups and downs. much like drugs.
