same here bro....

but My influence when I was a wee little lad was
Eric B. & Rakim - Paid in Full = my theme song!

Respect!!!

Thinkin of a master plan
Cuz ain't nuthin but sweat inside my hand
So I dig into my pocket, all my money is spent
So I dig deeper but still comin up with lint
So I start my mission- leave my residence
Thinkin how could I get some dead presidents
I need money, I used to be a stick-up kid
So I think of all the devious things I did
I used to roll up, this is a hold up, ain't nuthin funny
Stop smiling, be still, don't nuthin move but the money
But now I learned to earn cos I'm righteous
I feel great! so maybe I might just
Search for a 9 to 5, if I strive
Then maybe I'll stay alive
So I walk up the street whistlin this
Feelin out of place cos, man, do I miss
A pen and a paper, a stereo, a tape of
Me and Eric B, and a nice big plate of
Fish, which is my favorite dish
But without no money it's still a wish
Cos I don't like to dream about gettin paid
So I dig into the books of the rhymes that I made
To now test to see if I got pull
Hit the studio, cos I'm paid in full

Africa Bambataa and the Zulu Nation fools!!!! yeah, then around that time back in the day, I heard Frankie Knuckles and started to get really into House, along with groups like Front 242, Nitzer Ebb and so forth....... LeftField was a big influence on me back then as well. I started to get into acts like Johnny Z and others cause of the bass and the women loved to jiggle certain body parts. How manny of ya remember the old Razor Maid Series?? back in the mid-late 80's about the time I started to hit up clubs in Houston like CPR, Therapy, Numbers, 6400 and so forth. Then Powertools, Red Square and so forth. But the best experience for me was when I played with Sean Carnahan at the Davenport like back in 99 or was it 2000?? damn pot use grrrrrrrr can't recall--- spun off a coffee table and a couch.
99-2004 I was doing a mix show down in Victoria TX on 95KVIC and thats when I really got into Trance. Shit like, Underworld, Oakenfold, Yakooza, Derb, System F and so forth. The down side to the show and still is was that it was a 4 hr show and I had to play 2 hours of remixed Top 40 by Tunderpuss and Pink Morel mixes . Some of the remixes were really good and I always leaned toward the trancey mixes of the pop shit, but once 12am rolled around it was on like donkey kong.

but now a days I am a serious House Head... still like the trance but I perfer to spin House now.
