I tried that too. Did you have it cooked or raw? I ate it raw and didn't particularly like the consistency of it, or the fact that there was fresh blood pouring off of it when i went to take a bite.
Reindeer or otherwise known as caribou has a very bitter, strong mineral taste to it.
