I think people may be confused with this announcement.. Lawler playing 4 sets in Toronto does not equal him playing CZ (in fact it will probably mean 2 TiL sets, 1 Guv/KH/Skybar set and 1 Ultra set (remember where the money is)). Dream on if you think he'll play CZ.

Since I've first seen Steve Lawler in Toronto: Lawler has never topped his Charlie's set nor has he topped his first SkyBar set (and that includes me seeing him in Miami @ WMC'06).

Ok, Lawler is good, he plays a great party, Lawler is a party -- but don't get hopes up for something that is beyond the financial aspect of a Lawler party.

And further - I don't think TiL is the best place to experience Lawler.

Lawler @ Charlies (Gallery) != TiL

Lawler @ Skybar != TiL

Those two venues (Charlies/Skybar) is what takes a Lalwer set from "ok" to "amazing". He could play in the Taj Mahal as far as I'm concerned - but the up-close and personal, average clubber, unique experience/connection is what makes Lawler's set memorable (not the mass clubland TiL or elite Ultra experience).
