i should check out sandler. the other ones are good too but i think aside from svd's work my fave alias is sam sharp. i think sam sharp's stuff is closer to svd's work back in the day and not svd's current work right now.

i've seen sander live and not sean. i just happen to like sander's works a LOT. i have only heard two tracks of sean's. but, like i mentioned before, i do feel that sander will come out more on top than sean because it seems like he is only getting more and more popular and i have seen more positive reviews about him than i have for sean, so that might make an influence. i can't be too sure though.

SvD has never once produced a track that was remotely memorable for me, with the clear exception being "Grasshopper," because no one could never possibly forget how absolutely horrid that tune is. Furthermore, his DJ sets are every bit as incoherent as Tyas', they really seem utterly random and without any sort of flow.

He really doesn't even reach "mediocre" status with me. Personal preference, I guess - but I honestly don't see this amazing "talent" so many people seem to think he has.

Do you even listen to hard/tech-trance or do you just judge him for making a tracks in a genre you don't understand?
It's not about his recent stuff, but tracks like Twister and his remix of Nocturnal Delight er very memorable too me atleast.

If you want to hear one of Sean Tyas' set you can download it from

http://alldj.org/index.php?name=News&op=Article&sid=646

Its a 2 hour set he played in january, but unfornately, it downloads as one long track.
I have managed to split it up. I could possibly send it some people if you like, when i figure out how. let me know.
Since I put the cd in my car, it hasn't come out. I think it's awesome.

I took that set from

http://alldj.org/index.php

There's sets from most djs on there, including Sander.

both. sander admittedly not in about a year, but i remember going pretty mental on various occasions. i saw sean live less than a week ago, and he bored me to fucking tears. i found it a struggle to actually dance to all but a couple of tunes in his set.. thank fuck christopher lawrence came on after him & ripped the place apart

Yes, not much, but I do - and I do have some grasp of what I envision as "good" releases in hard/tech-trance, and I've never once heard one from SvD.

I think RJT has made himself clear enough here

I personally really like Nocturnal Delight and his earlier SVD productions, when I first got into trance he was someone who stood out to me, and I guess this is why I hold him in higher esteem.
