i almost got into a fight the other night with one of my best friends. her dad is a prominent lawyer and her mom is a stay @ home mom. she goes to my university as an out of state student (and pays FULL tuition [$40,000/yr] without any financial aid...which is why she was admitted in the first place since her high school grades were so-so). she's awesome and i love her, but we come from two COMPLETELY different ends of the spectrum. she was complaining about the fact that she had $.17 in her bank account...i have something pretty close to that in my own. the difference is that her dad puts 'allowance' in once a week (she even tells him it's for beer money ). and if she overdraws, NO PROBLEM...he'll fix it. um...if i did that my parents would tell me tough luck and fix it myself (they have).
the difference between us is that her "broke" and my BROKE are not the same...i guess it's just our own respective standards of living. but i'd rather work a hell of a lot harder, even though it's hard sometimes, there's no way a rich kid has the same fucking principles and work ethic as a hardworking person. |
i struggled my whole damn life and had it handed to me...by your definition this means i deserve a blowjob at least
